The climate in the Bay Area allows us to grow plants from nearly any climate or region of the world, but often with a much different outcome then what is expected in the plant’s native climate and as reported in conventional garden books.

Our goal is alway to help our customers enjoy success in their gardens. The information in this database in a culmination of our own, as well as our customers experiences. We have had one goal over the many years it took to amass this information: to provide you with information that is more regionally accurate then any other resource.
