Magnificent Magnolias

Magnificent Magnolias

Magnolias are evergreen or deciduous trees and shrubs, beloved for their large tulip or star shaped flowers.  It is an ancient genus which is believed to have appeared before bees evolved.  Their colors range in white, pink, purple and yellow. The flowers appear on the deciduous form in late winter or spring before the leaves.  You will notice some of the earliest blooming varieties beginning to bloom in early February and continuing through Spring.  The evergreen form with large white, fragrant blossoms will bloom throughout the year.

We carry a large quantity of deciduous varieties beginning in late Fall when our annual shipment arrives from Oregon. Evergreen types are stocked throughout the year.
